Role Summary/Purpose:

Experienced solution sales consultants with a proven sales track record in the Discrete manufacturing Industry to join our Digital Sales Team in Europe.
You'll be responsible for selling Asset Performance Management, Integration Services and Industrial Data Intelligence into Manufacturing Verticals. Experience of selling Manufacturing Operations Management Software Solutions and Integration Services is required .

Experience:

• Proven years of experience in Software Solutions and Integration Services sales with experience in managing opportunities using a proven sales methodology.
• Market intelligence: Extensive industry knowledge in the Discrete Industry
• Communicating effectively: Demonstrated experience & strong ability to coordinate and facilitate international teams comprised out of Account Managers, Consultants and Engineers to achieve goals
• Business Administration degree, Technical degree or equivalent Experience
• Experience in closing million dollar plus opportunities

Essential Responsibilities:

• Meet or Exceed Annual Sales Goal - Through direct customer contact, increase sales (deeper and broader penetration) within assigned growth accounts by creating value to customers for our solution footprint.
• Create Demand - Through the use of coordinated activities with own initiatives,Marketing ( Campaigns), grow and maintain a pipeline of ~5-7 times of the annual quota. In addition to tracking a 16-month potential pipeline, Sales Managers need to maintain a 36-month industry and growth account plan that will be shared with parts of our business including Marketing and Product Management to ensure coordination across the business.
• Coordination with Account Teams globally to ensure Focus and Maximize Growth - Works closely with Account Team and Territory teams in Europe to ensure coordination & achievement of assigned revenue goals. Develops a new Solution Provider network .
• Support new Initiatives throughout Industry and Growth Accounts - Aggressively adopt new solutions, initiatives, programs, webinars, seminars, and campaigns within assigned industry (Business Development) and at named growth accounts (Account Management).
• Opportunity Tracking - Identify and initiate steps in sales cycles for products, potential services, solutions, and training. Monitor opportunities, through the GE IP sales process and ensure Salesforce.com updates. Be responsible for accurately forecasting opportunities in Salesforce.com including the coordination of account activities on a national level and international level. Sales Managers will also be responsible for leading Software "deal reviews" at growth named accounts as part of ongoing pipeline reviews.
• Review Active Opportunities - As part of regular sales reviews, discuss active opportunities, overall pipeline, and next steps towards closing opportunities in most profitable manner.
• Work closely with Business Consultants and Technical Engineers - Sales Managers will need to work closely with the Consultants and Sales Engineers to coordinate account activities that aide in developing opportunities and closing sales. Some of these activities include conversions, proof of concept pilots, on-site discovery activities, etc.
• Ensuring a Professional Sales Experience for customers during all aspects of sales process and touch points including: Formal meeting agendas (reviewing with customer or Key Account Managers prior to meeting), formal follow-up stating sequence of events and next steps in writing, and issue resolution in a timely fashion.
