About the Role
GBS is the service partner to the entire Essity organization, delivering services within Finance, Human Resources, Workspace and Master Data. Our employees, spread across more than 35 countries, deliver both professional and transactional services every day to all our internal customers within Essity. The role reports to the Business Process Automation manager responsible for the overall GBS Portfolio, PMO and Capability Journeys. The position is preferably located in Gothenburg but other European locations may be considered. Since our stakeholders are located globally, occasional travel may be required, however video is preferred for meetings. As your team members are in several countries, successfully contributing to virtual teams is a huge part of the daily work.
As a Business Data Analyst, you will work on GBS Reporting framework, Portfolio Management and other global projects. Since this is a new role, you will be an important part of developing our future ways of working and supporting our stakeholders to become more focused on quality data and insights.

What You Will Do
You will work closely with key stakeholders to provide guidance and support on analytics and reporting opportunities. This involves working closely with business and Service Line experts to understand their data and insight needs. These needs will then be translated into reports and dashboards. In additional to delivering new insights through reporting you will also drive improvements in underlying data quality for transactional services.
The role will support GBS Portfolio process, data, and tool management and development. This includes securing value realization from the data driven project portfolio to ensure strategic targets are met.
You will also support in design, implementation and management of the digital asset register for GBS, ensuring that all solutions are correctly managed throughout their lifecycle.
Who you are
For this role it is important that you know how to be the link between data domain / business and experts, process leaders and IT specialists like Data Scientists and Data Engineers to deliver analytics projects. We work in a flexible and changing environment, this requires the successful candidate to be willing to take on new and interesting tasks.
You will have great opportunities to develop influence and build up the GBS data analytics field and this role over time. We have a strong process and continuous improvement culture within the Service Excellence team.
What you need
3-5 years' experience in business analysis.
University degree or equivalent in business related subject
Business analyst experience (understanding and translating needs) essential
Experience with Microsoft PowerBI is essential
Experience managing projects and securing results from others
Knowledge of Data structures and analytics concepts beneficial
Holistic thinking and an interest in understanding the full value chain
Communication skills in large scale projects within multi-cultural environments
Customer focused and results oriented
Proven ability to have responsibility for daily customer interaction and delivery
Experience in working in virtual teams is an advantage
Fluent in English and strong written communication skills
