We are now looking for a
Business Analyst Credit & Risk
to support VFS Nordic Market (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland) and Cross Border Markets (Macedonia, Montenegro, Belarus and Serbia). The Nordic Market manages a total credit portfolio of approximately 9 600 million SEK.

We offer an interesting role that combines credit analysis and risk management with credit portfolio controlling and improvement projects. You will work closely with the Credit and Risk teams in the local markets as well as EMEA and be part of a competent and pleasant working environment. The position reports to the Director Credit & Risk, Nordic Market.
Purpose of the Job
The Business Analyst Credit & Risk is responsible for preparing credit assessments of larger transactions for relevant Credit Committees. He/she also participates as a voting member at local market level. The Business Analyst plays an important role in the quality assurance and continuous improvement of credit and risk processes. In addition he/she is responsible for monitoring and reporting activities related to the performance of the Nordic credit portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
• Secure timely, accurate and efficient preparation of credit applications for larger transactions, including analyses and recommendation rationale
• Responsible for follow-up and renewal of large credit lines and nonstandard financing programs
• Participation in local Credit Committees as voting member
• Participate in designing and maintaining Nordic underwriting directives and procedures including compliance with relevant framework, internal as well as external
• Monthly and quarterly Credit & Risk reporting
• Participate in process development and related projects across the Nordic countries and cross functionally within VFS
• Participate in the development and implementation of Data Warehouse related activities

Education & Professional Experience
• University degree or MBA in finance, controlling or equivalent
• Minimum five years of experience working in an analyst/controlling/reporting function, preferably in the finance/leasing industry
• Credit experience in finance industry or related field
• Experience in working in an international environment
• Project management experience is an advantage
Competencies & Skills
• Good knowledge and understanding of financial services business
• Specialist knowledge of and experience in risk assessment and risk management
• Excellent analytical skills overall, specifically financial analysis
• Customer focused with a service and solution oriented mind-set
• Proven team player with a demonstrated ability to coordinate and involve others
• Advanced level of English (oral and written)
• Fluent in one Scandinavian language (oral and written)
• High level of IT application skills
