There is now a challenging opportunity within the department Commercial Systems at Volvo Parts Product Support Development. We manage and develop systems supporting aftermarket services and automotive analysis of vehicles. You will work in a small aspiring team in a department with increasing demand and great development potential.
Responsibilities
To manage and assure quality of requirements with a customer focus is an important responsibility in your role and performing reviews/workshops with stakeholders. This includes conducting requirement reviews and keeping the same user friendly.
You will follow change requests from start until they are anchored in a project scope, taking stakeholders into account. This gives you mandate to decide what requirements and change requests are to be accepted or rejected as well as setting the priority. You will also determine when a request is ready to be included in a release project. It will be vital for you to make sure that change requests are in line with the strategy outline. Your work will be carried out in close collaboration with project managers, system owners, enterprise architects, other system analysts as well as customers and end users.
Qualifications
• University degree in engineering or system development or documented experience from relevant areas
• Good knowledge of making Software Requirement Specifications
• Good knowledge of the RUP and UML principles
• Good business and system knowledge
• Good command of English, written and spoken
• Experience of SCRUM is positive

Requirements and change requests will often originate from our customers and end users, which require you to have a strong customer focus and being a comfortable presenter. You need to take initiative and be able to drive change without forgetting that you are part of a team. Having a good attention to detail is vital in order to break down change requests. Structure needs to be a cornerstone in your job profile in order to be successful in this role.
