We are now looking to recruit five awesome backend developers to join Greenely, an award-winning startup with offices in central Stockholm. Here is the opportunity to put your mark on a tech startup that is growing at a rapid pace and whose goal is to make the world better.
Description of the role
Your role as a backend developer means that you actively participate in the development of Greenelys service. The team is cross-functional and consists of both frontend and backend developers. You will work with backend development and develop microservices built in Python to accommodate new functionality for our users, according to a roadmap. We utilize agile development with a sprint structure where the entire team is involved.
Since Greenely is a small team where close communication takes place and projects vary quite a lot, we place a strong emphasis on your personal qualities. Therefore, we believe that you are flexible as a person, social, have easy to communicate, responsible and can explain technical aspects in an educational way to people who are not involved. We apply freedom under responsibility and believe that you are an important puzzle piece to our team. Furthermore, you have a strong will to create value for the end-user.
Required skills
• Min. 2 years of experience in backend development.
• Experience in agile working methods
• Experience working with Cloud-based architecture
• Understanding of Agile principles
• Knowledge in GIT
• Effective communication skills
• Fluency in English
Bonus skills
• Falcon framework experience
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Experience in PostgreSQL
• Django experience
• Knowledge in time-series-data
• Experience working with Docker
