Description
Automation Solutions develop and deliver a world class automation platform and services used by Tetra Pak business units, packaging platforms and market companies. As the importance and demand for automation increases, we are now strengthening our teams to meet new expectations. Several exciting positions within Automation Solutions are now open where you can be involved in a highly professional environment on the cutting edge of manufacturing software development.
The Plant Control team is responsible for design, implementation and integration of the Tetra PlantMaster PLC and HMI platforms. Our libraries and components are a key to achieve long term sustainability, quality and engineering efficiency for Tetra Pak market companies. We manage a portfolio including Tetra Pak proprietary software as well as third party solutions built on Siemens S7, Rockwell RSLogix and Wonderware products.
We are now looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with leadership skills to drive and develop our Rockwell platform. You will be responsible for the content and quality of the deliveries you and your team do. You will also be a valuable part in supporting the platform towards MC together with our Roll-out team. Your work will mainly be done in Rockwell RSLogix 5000.
Main responsibilities
• Architecture, content and quality of the Rockwell platform
• Participate in definition and plans for improving, scaling and extending our products
• Development and lifecycle of the Rockwell platform
• Plan and lead the development activities within your team
• Support users of the Plant Automation Platform
• Your work will mainly be done in Rockwell RSLogix 5000.
Qualifications
• Extensive experience in PLC programming using Rockwell RSLogix5000
• Experience in HMI development using Wonderware products
• Experience in automation for processing plants
• Relevant experience combined with a University degree in Automation Engineering or equivalent is required
Fluent in written and spoken English is a requirement.
Knowledge or experience within one or more of the following areas is considered a merit:
• Team leading
• Experience in high level programming
• SQL database knowledge
• Experience in software architecture and engineering
