The position of associate senior lecturer provides the appointee with the possibility, after holding the position of associate senior lecturer and through research and pedagogical qualifications, of being promoted to senior lecturer. The position is full-time, but not more than four years.
The appointment includes research and teaching duties in the subject area. The appointee shall collaborate with researchers at the department and within the peripheral subject areas and supervise project work and degree projects that are conducted within the implementation area and follow developments within his/her own research area as well as societal developments of general relevance to his/her teaching work.
The position is placed at the Department of Chemistry and Biomedical Sciences

Qualification requirements:
In order to qualify for the position of associate senior lecturer, the applicant must have completed a doctoral degree or attained equivalent scientific qualifications. Consideration will be given to those who have received a doctoral degree or equivalent qualifications no more than seven years before the deadline for applications. Those who received their degree earlier may also be considered if special grounds exist.

• Teaching proficiency
• Ability to set up and develop collaborative projects in research and higher education

When applying for promotion to senior lecturer, the following criteria will be given special emphasis:
Ability to independently initiate and drive research of high scientific quality
Frequency of publication in international journals
Ability to obtain funding for research activities
Ability to independently establish collaborative research projects
Demonstrated proficiency in teaching and supervision
Placement location: Kalmar
