The position of Assistant Principal is vital to the success of the school. The Assistant Principal works in close cooperation with the Principal and helps coordinate all aspects of the school's activities. You will be responsible for managing the staff and students on a daily basis as well as being responsible for maintaining our high expectations of discipline and order and must therefore have a genuine interest in working with a wide range of people. You will build upon and implement behavior and welfare systems in the school, enabling teachers to teach and students to learn. You will work closely with the Student Care Team and Heads of Years. You should have strong knowledge of state and municipal policy documents and have a genuine interest in educational development and its organization as well as implementation.
To be accepted for the position you will need relevant academic education and previous experience as a school leader. Good communication skills in both Swedish and English are of high importance.

IES Värmdö will be located in Gustavsberg and opens up the doors for students in F-7 in August 2021. The school will eventually be an F-9 school.
