The Accounting Assistant is handling everyday financial work at the the B-Reel Stockholm office. We have three subsidiaries in Stockholm and The Accounting Assistant handles accounts receivables and payables, handles payments and prepare cash reports. We are 5 people at the Finance department in Stockholm and the Accounting Assistant will report to Finance Manager Sweden.

Tasks:
- Administrate the finance inbox
• Handle accounts payable ledger, ensuring proper classification and recording
• Handle accounts receivable ledger, record incoming payments and reminders
• Reconcile ledgers to general ledger
• Accounting of all cash transactions
• Prepare weekly cash reports for the companies in Stockholm
• Handle staff expenses and petty cash in film productions
• Prepare monthly tax schedules for VAT and social security and taxes
• Ad hoc reconciliations

• A minimum of basic financial education at university level
• 2+ years of accounting experience. Media and commercial industry experience is a plus
• Knowledge of accounting software, excel and office 365
• A can-do attitude and a desire to make the workplace fun
• Fluent in both english and swedish since we work across the globe.
• You need to be able to handle lots of transactions, stay organized combined with a patient personality

Besides Stockholm, we are in New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona, Berlin, Oslo and London. We are creative people working in a very dynamic and fast paced setting with projects ranging from pure visuals to complex conceptual strategies, commercial and feature film production. Our beautiful Stockholm office is located in the heart of Södermalm.
