As Area Sales Manager you are responsible to develop our sales together with our distributors. This means supporting the distributors with sales strategies, train them to know our products and the customer benefits. It also means helping them with quotations for solutions that is not part of our standard portfolio. A job with many different activities and a fun challenge for a person with energy and who is interested in sales. Mectecs products are sold internationally and travelling is about 60 days/year. This role is exciting and challenging in an expansive and international company. You are based in Malmö and report to the Sales Director.
ProfilAs a person you develop a positive working relationship with your piers. We think you have a University degree in engineering but other academic background can also be relevant. You have experience from global sales and distributor management and are used to work within an international business environment. You are an analytical person with an operative customer oriented focus. Experience from technical sales and negotiations is a must. Leadership experience preferably from a growing organization is an additional preference. You are fluent in English and Swedish (writing and speaking), second major language is a plus. You have a strong personality in the sense that you dare to speak your opinion including having a strong drive to achieve results. You are embracing change and have an ability to work independently as well as being a team player when needed.
