Are you ready for a challenge being the link between development and infrastructure as our new Area Architect?

Application Operation is now looking for an Architect to join our team within Infrastructure & Operations, I&O. We work in a creative and innovative area where our main goal is to support the supporting business areas within H&M. We have a strong focus on delivering a stable, well performing and secure infrastructure and application environment to our customers.

As Architect you will have a holistic view of operation for all applications within the Division Business Support Functions and Shared Support. You will be a part of a fast moving environment where you as an Architect have a key role being a link between development and infrastructure where you secure the architecture
environment for the applications.

Your main tasks will be to coordinate local infrastructure services with external services, have a good understanding of integrations between applications, document technology viewpoint and review nonfunctional requirement for new systems. You will also suggest improvement in existing systems, operational procedures and highlight operations view in projects for future solutions. It will be important that you understand where development teams are heading and its impacts on operation. You will collaborate with I&O architects, Area Architects and other leaders within the IT department and report to the Operation Area Responsible.

Your responsibilities

The job of an Area Architect comes with lots of responsibility - and lots of fun. Your to do-list includes:

• Identify/manage integrations, end to end flow and communication
• Review transitions of new and existing systems
• Review operation impact on changes in global policies, i.e. security guidelines
• Ensure that changes/suggestions within solution/integration fit into existing infrastructure
• Expert on system quality requirement (nonfunctional requirements)
• Responsible for technology viewpoint in documentation of solution architecture
• Collaborate with Area Architects at the development divisions to ensure that architecture principles are meet and verify impact of new design
• Assist stakeholders Technical Solution Responsible/System Responsible with operation tasks

Your skills

And your skills include:
• Long experience within IT (operations)
• Familiar with enterprise monitoring/deployment/capacity tools
• Good knowledge in systems integration
• Good knowledge in IT infrastructure (servers, network, storage, databases)
• Good knowledge in application middleware software and different framework stacks
• Experienced within implementation of Saas solutions
• Aware of DevOps principles
• Good knowledge and understanding of work of development team
• ITIL foundations
• Preferably worked as an IT architect earlier
• You are fluent in Swedish and English
