Medical X-ray diagnostics is a very powerful technology. Therefore, the equipment must regularly be quality assured (QA). RTI develops and sells the most advanced hardware and software solutions for QA of medical X-ray diagnostics. Our mission is to let people benefit from medical X-ray safely. We are currently seeking an Applied Physicist to join our R&D team in Gothenburg.

Job Description Summary

As an Applied Physicist in our interdisciplinary solutions team, you will work with the development and maintenance of cutting-edge products and services for QA. This includes working in product development projects and maintenance of current products, applications, and processes for key customers. You will also get the opportunity to interact with the regulatory team and relevant national/international bodies. Based on your interests and skills, you will have the ability to shape your role within the team.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Product owner of semiconductor sensors used in RTI's products
• Ionizing radiation measurement methodology and algorithm development
• Data analysis and model description

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in applied physics, or equivalent, such as medical physics.
• Preferrable, but not necessary, two years of industrial experience in applied physics.
• Programming skills in Python and/or Matlab.
• Experience in data model simulation.
• Experience in practical measurement technology.
• Fluency in English and Swedish. Other language skill, such as German, is a merit.

You should be comfortable taking ownership of individual tasks as well as working together as a team. We dare you to make decisions and learn from your mistakes.
