hela Sverige Analysis and Verification is a function within GTT Powertrain Engineering, established to secure product feature fulfilment. A solid understanding of how our products are used is key to secure continues delivery of excellent products such as the branch leading I-Shift Gear Box and the Volvo Heavy Duty Engines.
We are looking for an Application Engineer and Customer Analyst. Your main mission will be to understand our customer needs and use this knowledge to drive continuous improvements of our products.
Core Responsibilities
• Provide knowledge related to customer usage in running projects
• Support our project Leaders and Product Attribute Specialists to breakdown complete powertrain requirements into measurable requirements and feature targets.
• In cooperation with relevant functions perform market studies of customers to obtain data to be used in our powertrain development.
• Monitor system- and component fault frequency data from field and compile status reports of this data to be used as input for future development.
• Contribute to risk assessment related to application engineering areas, i.e. how the customer use the product.
• Review- and contribute to the creation of feature and verification plans.
• Perform analysis of data from field-test and project trucks to identify deviations from feature targets and future improvement areas.
• Coordinate competitor analysis within Powertrain Engineering Sweden
• Contribute to maintain a roadmap for competitor analysis and synchronize powertrain specific demands with FVV
• Lead and prioritize powertrain testing activities when test objects are on site

What we are looking for
To be able to take on this challenge successfully, we believe that you will possess the following skills and competencies:
• Master of Science in Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Physics, Chemical Engineering or related field and/or a relevant work experience from product development.
• As a part of a global organization it is important to be fluent in English, spoken and written, you must also have good presentation skills.
• We believe that you have a customer oriented mindset delivering complete high quality solutions that creates customer value.
• As we are solving small and big problems, often starting with limited information, we believe you are pragmatic, driven and always open to learn new things.
• We have a strong emphasis on collaboration and sharing - so we expect you are a team player that builds relationships.
• At least 5 years of experience from powertrain development.
