Antenna System & Technology at Ericsson Lindholmen is included in Ericsson's global radio development organization. We've a focus on the advanced antenna system (AAS) for 5G and beyond. We're engaged in antenna systematization for overall system performance, as well as development of products and solutions. We are working with antenna partners and vendors to drive and secure antenna technology and development.
We are now strengthening the antenna test team, by looking for an antenna test engineer with great interest and experience in developing test methods and carrying out measurements of antenna solutions and products.
What you will do
Participate in pre-development projects as well as in technical studies where you supply through:
• Developing new innovative test methods for Over-the-Air (OTA) spatial performance measurements of radio products and for antenna system measurements of antenna solutions and products
• Performing and evaluating sophisticated measurements of antenna solutions and products in advanced compact antenna test ranges (CATR)
If you bring extensive experience, there will be possibilities to have technical lead positions in close future
You will bring
• Bachelor or Master's degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering or equivalent
• Experience in carrying out measurements of antenna solutions and products
• Good knowledge in Radio/RF/antenna technologies and products
• Experience in Java and/or Python programming
• Experience in Matlab for measurement data analysis and visualization of measurement data
• Cloud and AI/ML knowledge
• Innovation mentality paired with the ability to adapt and respond to change
• Excellent written and spoken communications skills in English
