JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business Controller implies support to the local management team in Market Area sales analysis and support to local service organisation with additional analysis per site. In this role, you will collaborate with the sites in Kiruna, Gällivare, Luleå and Grängesberg, and therefore visit them regularly. As the financial expert you will ensure the quality of the financial information submitted. The purpose is to secure high quality and compliance with Metso internal and external requirements regarding financial information and the processes relating to; budget/rolling estimates, local and global business supporting activities and financial reporting.
Your main job duties and responsibilities are:
• Ensuring stakeholders reports, corresponding comments and KPI's in SAP, Hyperion or other reporting formats are on time, accurate and processed in line with International Financial Report Standards as well in line with Global Business Areas and local site specific needs and frequency.
• Identifying areas for improvement and continuing to evaluate, develop and document the processes within the area of responsibility.
• Monitoring and closely follow major customer contracts monthly and insure accurate estimates are maintained.
• Analyzing and monitor and Service Site burdens in the in monthly closing.
• Interpreting and analyzing local effect of global guidelines. Participate in implementing decided guidelines
• Communicating instructions and financial policies to the business
As Business Controller, you have contacts with Swedish sales and service sites and with other business functions such as factories, Global Business Lines, Global Supply Chain and Metso HQ Finance. You will also be in contact with external auditors.
The Business Controller is part of Metso's Swedish Controller unit with 9 employees.
REQUIREMENTS
To succeed in this position you need to have a Bachelor's Degree or MSc in Business Administration, finance or equivalent. We think you have a minimum 3-5-year experience in controlling or comparable finance area, preferably from an international environment. You are an experienced user of Excel and comfortable to handle complex data from different IT systems. It is an advantage if you have experience from SAP and Hyperion. You have excellent communication skills and fluency in speaking and writing English and Swedish is a prerequisite for the position.
It is important that you have a hands-on mentality and that you are action orientated with an international mindset.
