The group A&V Electrical Systems Architecture within Electrical System Design is responsible for testing of the complete electrical system. The group's mission is to carry out verification with a focus on testing in cars, different rig's (HIL, MIL) and boxcar mainly with respect to Vehicle Mode Management (VMM), Electric Distribution System on System level (S-EDS) and Electrical Performance. The Group consists of approximately 20 people and our responsibility extends across R&D and is also focused on the development of methods and tools. We are now looking for an Analysis and Verification Engineer to join our team.

As Analysis and Verification Engineer - Test Methods you will handle creation, development and maintenance of the Design Verification Methods (DVMs) for the sections responsibility. You will contribute to an increased customer satisfaction by inciting the Verification Engineers to follow correct test procedure including the use of Volvo Design and Verification tools such as Elektra.

Main responsibilities

• Collect information regarding the content of current car projects, covering mainly our own area of responsibility
• Assess and document which new verification method that need to be developed in connection to each car project
• Develop new verification methods in close corporation with design and verification engineers
• Verify new methods
• Take part in the verification in different rigs and real cars

Required qualifications

• B.Sc. degree in electrical/electronics or equivalent
• Experience in the development and testing of software and electronics in vehicles
• Driver's license, B-level
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Knowledge of Autosar is meritorious
• Solid practical experience of testing in the technical area, such as distributed real-time systems and software-intensive systems is meritorious
• Experience in the automotive industry and its technologies is also an asset, Flex Ray, CAN, LIN, MOST, etc.
