hela Sverige A unique opportunity for an experienced ABAP developer to join a green-field SAP Retail implementation in Stockholm.
The project is implementing the very latest versions of the retail solution including S4/HANA, SAP CAR, F&R, BW and PO in collaboration with SAP as the implementation partner.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a friendly and informal environment with a real focus on hands-on work and development. If you want to sharpen your skills and work with some of the best resources in the industry then this could be the perfect role for you.
As a developer you will be joining our small in-house team working under the guidance of the Lead Engineer and taking responsibility for critical parts of our future solution.
We are still at an early stage so your contribution to the final solution will be significant - for the right person, with a can-do attitude, we are certain that you will build more, learn more and implement more than on any other comparable project, and have fun whilst doing it.
What we expect of you
You are already an experienced developer, you know a lot and can work hands-on from day-one with support and guidance to get you going
Like all of us, you are not expected to know everything, but have a hunger and interest to learn new things and have a positive attitude to new challenges
We work best with people who are creators, people who love nothing better than seeing a solution they have built in the hands of the business users
The culture is informal and agile, and with just the right amount of structure to keep you focussed and productive
It's great if you can speak Swedish, but it's definitely essential that you speak and can write fluently in English
We would like it if you have retail and / or eComm experience - but your overall experience and attitude is what really matters
The specific technical skills we would expect to see include
Multiple years of experience with ABAP OO is essential - more than just a few userexits or BADI implementations
Some data modelling experience and the ability to undertake larger and more complex tasks such as processing complex interfaces, dialog programming, classical report
Ideally some experience working with integrations IDocs, Webservices, APIs
Exposure to some of the newer technologies like CDS views, OData services and Fiori is advantageous but not mandatory
A demonstrated interest in development generally and exposure to other technologies / languages
