hela Sverige We now have an exciting opportunity at AkzoNobel Car Refinishes in Tyresö. We are looking for a technical, self-driven and customer focused Color Support Specialist to join and support our European team.
As our Color Support Specialist you will work independently with giving local expert support on color. You will give service and trainings to internal and external stakeholders such as customers, distributors, RD&I and sales. You will be responsible for all color activities in the Nordics, but also support and collaborate with your colleagues in Europe. Travel within the Nordics will occur. In this role you will contribute to continued color excellence within AkzoNobel.
Main responsibilities
• Provide local expert support on color
• Hands on and practical work, such as mix and spray paint
• Collect and share local market knowledge on color within the Global color departments
• Competitor monitoring and benchmarking
• Handle local complaints and forward market complaints to support lab to trigger solution development
• Support implementation of color initiatives in market
• Train and equip local helpdesks and technical staff on color so that these employees are able to support local customer questions, request and needs
• Calibrates measurement equipment used in the color information process

Graduation from upper secondary school. Further education within technical or other relevant area is an advantage
2 - 4 years relevant work experience, preferable within similar area and/or other technical area
Experience within paint, refinishes or coatings is an advantage
Task and project management skills is an advantage
Very good knowledge in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Very good general IT knowledge
Be able to travel in duty

You must also be customer focused, have good communicative skills and the ability to understand and interact with internal and external customers. Since your manager and closest team members are based at other locations in Europe it is important that you take a big responsibility and are able to prioritize and manage your daily work in an independent way.
