Service Market Logistics (SML) is part of Group Trucks Operations. We are an organization of approximately 3 800 employees globally in more than 40 locations. What will you do?
As acting Digital Transformation Manager, you will lead the digital transformation within the Gent/EU - Supply Planning and Dealer Inventory Management organization.
Timeframe : current job owner will go on parental leave following European 2023 summer break, and plans to be back early 2024. By that, this mission would be lasting 7-8 months.
You will lead the SML PlanIT Volvo Trucks/Bus/Penta Central Distribution Center Gent Implementation, to take our new planning solution into the line and you will work together with a small cross-functional implementation team.
In this role you will be the one having the main understanding of our new Digital Product management and will support our managers and employees on which direction is the right way. Your role will also be to facilitate our collaboration networks to ensure a seamless transition from current solution to new solution and other parallel initiatives. You will lead and support the organization with the digitalization roadmap that you use as the guide in our digitalization transformation work. You steer and review it together with your management colleagues' sponsors and employees. Also, you will lead the Agile journey of our organization as well as give clear guidance into future competence needed to increase our data literacy

We believe you have a good understanding of the total logistical supply chain. You should know where and when to use applications and code like Power Tools, Python, Java, SQL and equivalent.
You can lead and apply an agile way of working with a lean mindset. The role requires leadership skills and networking capability with proven ability to facilitate cross-functional, cross-business unit teams on various levels.
It is strongly merited if you have prior experience of working in the Service Market Logistics End to End Project and/or PlanIT and can quickly adapt organizational constraints to solution proposals.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a relevant university degree/education.
Location:
Preferably Gothenburg,
but Eskilstuna or Gent could also be an option.
