Ocean Infinity is seeking a dynamic member to their Finance team. The Accounts payable will manage all accounts payable activities for the Company, ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, and maintain accurate records and control reports. The Assistant Accountant will maintain timely contact with employees, vendors, and clients.
Description and Main Purpose of the Job
What will you do:
• Manage day-to-day accounts payables function for high volume, global AP dept;
• Build cash forecast based on Payables and recurring expenses
• Maintain vendor relationships and inquiries;
• Own credit card activity
• Reconcile vendor accounts
• Assist with vendor support during the financial audit
• Plan and prioritize assignments and projects in a constantly changing environment.
Who you are:
• Accounting Degree or equivalent experience
• Robust Excel skills, with ability to create pivot tables, develop graphs and charts, and utilize formulas
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
• Proven ability to utilize financial reporting features in NetSuite, and other financial systems
• Ability to identify improved ways of working to drive a single standardized global view;
• Driven, proactive and able to work autonomously with little supervision towards the company's purpose;
• Interested in the others and strives for the best for the team;
• Integrity, credibility and maturity for confidential issues;
• Open and receptive to new and different ideas
• Ability to work well in a team and independently;
• Enthusiastic about protecting people and the planet.
