Account Executive
The position
We are seeking a strong software sales professional to sell SUSE products into a set of new and existing, medium, large and very-large enterprise accounts in Sweden. You will be responsible for a dedicated customer set, both existing and new clients, and help with related partners and involved alliances. You will be expected to become a trusted advisor on Linux, Open Source, and related strategies & products to these organizations as well as develop and maintain executive-level relationships.
Location
This position reports into the SUSE sales organization and will be located in Stockholm, Sweden.
Primary Responsibilities
• To maintain a rolling pipeline of potential sales opportunities that is a multitude of the personal revenue targets
• To build SUSE's image and reputation in targeted enterprise accounts and beyond
• To achieve or exceed personal and team revenue targets
• To provide periodic, accurate and achievable forecast predictions on pipeline closing rate and future revenue based on assigned accounts.
• To provide a detailed and structured account & opportunity plan for each major deal within an established format.
• To understand the strengths and weaknesses of the company?s competitors and to use these to maximum advantage to sell the SUSE solutions and deliver real value to customers.
• To promote sales successes in conjunction with Marketing. This includes provision of sales ?wins/loss? reference sites, case studies and testimonials.
• To provide consistent and regular communication with other customer touching departments to ensure smooth operation.
• Create best practice in business and contractual relationships within the targeted Accounts.
Profile
• A proven track record of sales experience selling enterprise software
• Preferably 2 years in a key account manager role.
• Experience in successful selling to medium, large and very large enterprises in the Swedish market
• Experience seeking and developing board and operational level relationships
• Experience with Linux, Open Source and related strategies is preferred
• Excellent Swedish & English. Both in speech and writing, as well as the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
• Self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision.
• Independent and takes responsibility/ownership
• Likes to be in the challenger position versus being a position protector
• Energetic and hungry for success
• Likes to build and grow business!!
Travel within the territory as well as occasional travel throughout Europe and to the United States is expected.
