We are building a state-of-the-art Gigafactory that will be one of the largest cell production facilities in Europe.

Together, we have formed a joint venture, NOVO Energy, to power the next generation of pure electric Volvo cars.
What you will do
The Academy Trainer works in the NOVO Academy where you will be developing and perform training for the manufacturing organization. You will be part of a small and dynamic team who will be working closely with the production organization as well as with the brand-new Gothenburg Battery Centre in Lindholmen.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identify competence needs and develop training for NOVO Manufacturing.
- Act as Academy trainers at NOVO Energy and train new employees as well as more experienced colleagues in the Internal and External Training Centra.
- Train the Shopfloor trainers and Technical trainers in the NOVO organization.
- Drive the daily use of the Internal Training Centre and oversee training in External Centre
- Assure NOVO Learning Management Platform (LMS) includes needed training covering their responsibility and make training available to internal customers.
- Follow development in relevant fields of responsibility and be able to train others in new technology.
- Oversee the Shopfloor training to continuously develop the training in dialogue with Manufacturing management.
Skills & Requirements
You have a pedagogic, inclusive and curious approach; looking to bring out the best in other people! You come with good communication skills as well as an understanding of how to organize teams and competences the best way possible. You are also structured, organized, and meticulous. We believe you have a background in the production industry or perhaps with a technical training provider. Studies in Pedagogy and adult learning is a bonus, but experience and understanding of training in a production organization are more important.
Experience:
- Manufacturing basic skills and understanding of Manufacturing Fundamentals.
- Experience from Lean Manufacturing systems.
- Experience from developing and performing training programs as well as designing education material.
- Excellent English written and oral skills.
