A/C System Integration Engineer
At RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from Volvo. Together with other engineers around the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. As A/C SYSTEM INTEGRATION ENGINEER within the group A/C & Auxiliary heater systems your main tasks will be to secure the system integration of the air condition refrigerant loop into the vehicle and make sure that the system fulfills the requirements. You will also manage the system demands as well as define and dimension the ingoing components of the system, create the analysis and verifications plan and follow up the system requirement fulfillment throughout the complete project scope. The position requires a great deal of experience about A/C systems for automotive use and also that you have participated in verification and analyse of the A/C system and components.
Job profile:
• Manage the A/C system demands including break down to functional component requirements
• Create the analysis and verification plan
• Deliver a system concept including balanced components
• Follow up the A/C system requirement fulfillment in all testing
• Lead cross functional integration meeting with the component project leaders and analysis engineers
• Define the demands of the influencing interfaces between the A/C system and the complete vehicle to ensure a successful integration of the system into the car
Your profile:
• At least three years experience in verification and analysis of A/C system and components
• Great knowledge about the A/C system and its functionality
• MSc in mechanical engineering
• Good communication skills and courage to challenge others
• Easily co-operate with colleagues
• Great skills in English spoken and written
• Driving license (B)
• Experience for the automotive industry is an advantage
