We are seeking a 3D Artist Manager with broad experience in CGI production with a passion for leading and developing our 3D talents. You will play a key role in shaping the future of visual communication by leading our dynamic team of 3D Artists and participating in leadership teams focused on creative and cross-functional collaboration.
Your mission is together with the 3D Artist, Technical and Creative teams to elevate our 3D artistry and ensure high-quality CGI and animations, that inspire and authentically reflect the IKEA brand and values, being an expert in life at home.
Key Responsibilities
Secure a modern and flexible production environment, in close collaboration with the Digital counterparts. Identify running business enhancements and development needs and priorities requests as the business owner for CGI production.
Responsible for developing 3D talent within the business. Fostering an inclusive culture that values every team member and provides a safe, supportive environment for growth. Encourage and support upskilling and competence development on 3D Artists creative and technical expertise, making them excel and grow in a constantly changing working environment.
Support the deliveries of high qualitative and consistent CGI output by securing best practice of documentation and implementation of the CGI production core process and ways of working.
Keep up to date with trends within the industry, as well as new tools, techniques, and software.
Develop and maintain a strong external network and dialogue with CGI specialists within the field.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of experience of leading teams in a role as Manager, Project lead or similar. Including tasks as recruiting, analyzing training needs, ensuring career development and growth, conducting salary and performance reviews.
5+ years of experience in CGI, 3D visualization or related fields.
Broad knowledge in 3D workflows and tools.
Ability to see the bigger picture and operate accordingly.
Understanding the needs and demands of a production driven environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a passion for building networks across disciplines and functions.
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
