The focus in the role as Head of Services Commercials is to define the Commercial Strategy, Ways of Working and Pricing support for all services areas, to secure innovation and expertise in Pricing and to lead the Services Commercials transformation in RECA. The responsibilities include:
• Provide Commercial Services Strategy and Pricing support for all services areas ? MS, CSI, NRO & Customer Support
• Set, manage and approve proposal prices on the entire Ericsson services portfolio
• Work close with Price Management team
• Analyze customer commercial requirements and market development to ensure superior insights in services commercials
• Build expertise in team through development of Commercial Management Services SME and Sourcing MS Business Partner
• Close cooperation with Sourcing functions
• CSI: SI/IT Category Management and Partnering
• NRO: Sourcing Business Engagements & Operations
• Secure evolved and best in class Ways of Working and Models
• Leading and further develop a highly skilled and high performing team
• Driver of High Margin Sales (HMS) Customer Support Program
• Work hand in hand with all functions in Commercial Management and Sourcing
As a member of the Commercial Management & Sourcing Leadership Team the Head of Services Commercials is an active contributor to development of the overall function and helps to drive the overall maturity of the function when it comes to structure, processes, tools, capabilities, behaviours, measurements and results.
Knowledge and Experience required
Education:
• University degree in Economics/Business or Telecoms/IT
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience from a commercial role
Competence:
• Highly skilled in understanding of sales process, market prices and commercial terms
• Good insights of Ericsson's solution and services portfolio and how these benefit our customers.
• Negotiation skills.
• Financial knowledge and analytical skills
• Ability to build a strong network at a senior level within Ericsson
• Highly developed knowledge and skills in leadership, communications, managing change and cultural awareness.
• Team-player with high degree of accountability and integrity and ability to work well in a cross-functional organization
Team Leadership
As leader of the team, responsible for reinforcing the vision, managing change, coaching, providing direction, clear communication, staffing, prioritization, competence development, performance management, and overall development of the team. Realize synergies across the team, leveraging on varying strengths, cultural differences, market conditions, different customers, etc. Ensure competent resource pool to support business needs. Execute & prioritize resources and capabilities in accordance with short- and long-term ambitions.
