Visma is looking to hire a quick-minded and skillful web developer for our corporate marketing and communication department.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced web developer who can develop and maintain in web projects with primary focus on our corporate EPiServer CMS installation. The web developer will be a part of the national and international webgroup, and participate as technical advisor and developer in relevant projects from brief to handover. Our primary publishing platform is EPiServer 6.
• Implement page templates and component modules and third party
• Plug-ins in EPiServer
• Development, maintenance, testing, quality assurance and documentation of features for Visma’s websites
• Implement front end prototypes in cooperation with user experience/interaction designers and multimedia producers
• Implement page templates and component modules and third party plug-ins in EPiServer
• Participate in relevant web initiatives in Visma
The successful candidate will have an excellent practical understanding of the technical aspects of web development, both front and back end as well as knowledge of delivering high profile and innovative websites.
Requirements
• Relevant higher education
• At least 3 years experience from professional web development
• High level of competence on programming for the web, specifically ASP.Net (VB/C#) and relevant development methodologies
• Strong knowledge of Java scripting, standards-compliant HTML/XHTML and CSS, Ajax, Web services, XML and similar relevant subjects
• Knowledge of and experience from database modelling and development, specifically towards database-driven web-functionality (SQL and ADO.Net)
• Experience from back-end integration work, specifically integration between web and other systems or data sources
• Strong knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Visual Web Developer, Microsoft Expression Web or similar
