We are now looking for a Web Developer to join our System Applications team within Axis's Research & Development department.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Web Developer you will be part of the team that builds new services in our service center platform. Helping bringing video surveillance into the cloud. Your team will work in close collaboration with the different application teams for creating solutions/services for our customers.
At System applications we think cooperation is important and we work in an agile environment using Scrum and Kanban. We focus on quality, testability, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you have a Master's degree in computer science or similar and a few years of relevant working experience in the field. You have excellent knowledge in software design and development in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and an understanding of web development frameworks, such as node.js and AngularJS. Experience from cloud technologies and cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure is considered as a merit.
Furthermore, we believe you are familiar with working in an agile working environment and have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish. As a person, you are passionate about software development and a team player, contributing on both a technical and social level.
OUR TEAM
System Applications are responsible for creating and maintaining Axis software solutions, integrating Axis network cameras into solutions including Windows desktop applications, storage solutions, mobile apps and cloud services.
