As the Senior Team Leader you will lead and supervise a team of more than 20 committed Workshop Mechanics and 2 front-line supervisors. You will also lead manufacturing development activities, projects and people and ensure progress and status of the development projects.

Main responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise the team which includes appraise performance; resolve problems; and address staffing needs.
• Mentor, train and develop team members for career progression and learning
• Prepare recommendations about significant changes that need to be made to manufacturing resources, procedures, facilities, systems and technology.
• Implementation of the new manufacturing technologies and methods.
• Lead assigned projects and report the status of projects.
• Evaluate the results of the manufacturing development projects.
• Act as technical advisor in complex manufacturing engineering projects.
• Monitor industry trends and developments in manufacturing engineering technology
