This position is responsible to support SVP Finance and EMT in the following areas:
1. Timely and accurate financial forecasts for both Volvo and SDLG business. Work closely with with 4 sales & marketing regions, 3 operations regions, global technology function and SDLG intergration office.
2. Support Capex investment analysis. Monitoring of agreed Capex and S&A framework.
3. Provide valued added management and performance analysis on production costs, gross margin, S&A and credit. Support all requests for EMT meetings and Business Review Meetings.
4. Monitor the day-to-day credit exposure and overdue for both Volvo and SDLG business. Highlight risks and take corrective actions timely.
5. Monitor off balance sheet risks and monitor performance and adherence to the existing Credit Insurance programs and Service Level Agreements
6. Implement the new Financial Reporting Framework throughout the VCE organisaitons. Represent VCE and participate in the respective global forums for different work streams/discussion groups being the main interface towards AB Volvo Business Control within Volvo CE.
7. Acts as the overall tax coordinator for Volvo CE and interface with Corporate Tax and external tax advisor, where necessary.
8. Liaise with auditors when needed for quarterly reporting
9. Build and maintain efficient interfaces with Volvo Business Services and Financial Reporting to secure timely and quality financial close and consolidation of VCE operating results.
10. Close collaboration with Finanec Process & Systems to ensure efficient process development and harmonisation of financial processes throughput VCE.
11. Actively work with continuous improvement and implement changes
12. This position is the Process Owner for:
a. Annual Business Planning
b. Rolling month financial forecast
Required knowledge, skills & experience:
• Recognised university degree in business & accounting or finance. MBA is a plus.
• Several years of relevant business controlling experience in a global company
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Good analysis skilss and attention to details.
• Team player in a diverse working environment and ability to work effectively with central functions
