RISE ETC is now looking for a researcher with an interest in contributing to the transition to a sustainable industry.

About us
RISE is expanding in the field of bioeconomy. We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to be a part of the development towards a future circular och fossil-free society. We work in close cooperation with industry and researchers worldwide. Together, we generate and refine research results and ideas based primarily on forest raw materials. RISE Energy Technology Center (ETC) performs research covering our thematic focus areas of sustainable hydrocarbon fuels, carbon free energy solutions, computer based process optimization and high value-added materials. Within our business there are currently around 35 employees, mainly researchers, engineers and technical staff.

About the work
Currently, there is a great interest in production of fuels and chemicals from biobased and circular feedstocks. RISE ETC conducts research on pyrolysis of biomass and circular materials as well as upgrading of the produced oils with the purpose of producing sustainable and fossil free fuels. The research is performed in our dedicated pilot plants. You will contribute with competence and experience to our research projects at all stages; idea, planning, execution and reporting. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management with partners and customers is important as you will initiate and drive new projects. You are expected to contribute to the development of the research area, both within RISE ETC and within the whole of RISE. Cooperation with colleagues at other sites will be crucial to reach this. Placement: Piteå.
