The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Relevant experience from software embedded development
• Experience in microcontrollers/MCUs
• Experience in C and C++
• Experience in Python programming language
• Experience in Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Experience in Linux operating system
• Experience in wireless connectivity, including cellular connectivity, Bluetooth low energy and WiFi
• Experience in Device drivers
• Experience in Git version control system
• Experience in debugging and test - Tools and setup
• English profficiency
Nice to have
• Experience in FOTA solutions
• Knowledge about network protocols (such as TLS and MQTT)
• Knowledge about low-level usage of UARTs, GPIOs, I2C and SPI
• Knowledge about Open-source software
• Documentation skills
About the position
• Work as a senior software developer for embedded applications
• develop end-to-end solution for global real-time cargo & asset tracking and supply chain visibility. It consists of advanced trackers, sensors, cloud service and a web interface that's accessible from any connected device.

• The wide range of assignments will give you the opportunity to influence your daily work life. Variety of tasks such as software development, investigations, analysis, "Proof of concept" studies. Discuss with team members, inspire and be inspired.
