Placement will be within one of the Faculty departments: Cariology, Endodontics, Clinical Stomatognathic Physiology, Dental radiology, Dental technology, Oral diagnostics, Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Oral biology, Oral Pathology, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Community dentistry.
Malmö University

Tasks
The successful application will be required to undertake research in one of the Faculty’s priority focus areas within the Oral health profile, i.e. the oral ecosystem with microbial biofilms, risk assessment and prevention, biomaterials in oral health care, functional disturbances and pain in the orofacial region, evaluation of methods used in oral health care and clinical decision-making, and public dental health and profession in oral health care.
The post also involves some form of scheduled faculty work such as teaching, clinical work or administration for up to 20% of annual working time.
Eligability
To qualify for employment as a post-doctoral researcher, candidates must have completed a doctorate or international degree judged to be equivalent to a doctorate. The doctorate should have been successfully completed not more than 3-years prior to the application deadline.
Applicants are also required to have:
• a well-defined research programme
• an ability to interact with the surrounding community and to inform others about research and development work
• good interpersonal skills
