Torsby Hospital is an emergency hospital with service areas in the municipalities of northern Värmland, i.e. Torsby, Sunne, Hagfors and Munkfors. The hospital has three wards where patients with surgical and internal medicine conditions can be treated.
The hospital has reception facilities and also a mobile team. A well-functioning operating theatre and intensive care/recovery unit as well as an emergency department. There is on-call services in a medical line, a surgical line and an orthopaedic line.
The hospital in Torsby is a pleasant workplace that has several advantages, such as proximity, short decision-making paths, efficiency, accessibility and quality. As a specialist in medicine, you will work in all parts of the business with ward work, reception and on-call. You should enjoy dealing with acutely ill patients with a wide range of internal medicine ailments. After introduction and any supplementation, you will then be included in the on-call line, which is on standby at home in the evenings and nights and with daytime presence on weekdays and on weekends. At the clinic, there is an opportunity to focus more on certain patient groups.
There is the possibility of double specialization. Today, there are colleagues who, in addition to specializing in internal medicine, also specialize in, for example, cardiology, endocrinology and gastroenterology.
We are looking for you who is a trained specialist doctor, who is used to work independently but also in a group. You have good collaboration skills and are used to creating and maintaining contacts.
