About the job
As our new Technology Manager in Automation, you will lead a global tam of digital engineers. You will set the technical vision and path in Automation and create a trusted technical organization responsible for the platform engineering and architectural strategy in Automation.
Key tasks:
Define and own Technical Roadmap and target architecture of the automation platform(s).
Owning the strategy regarding infrastructure, technology, components, software licenses etc., that is needed for development of Core Automation products and platforms.
Provide sound Servant and agile leadership.
Collaborate with other functions within AL to create networks that supports the Learning organization.
Contribute to the establishment of appropriate global processes and standards that enable continual convergence of processes, tools, and work methods.
What you know
Your background is a bachelor's degree in engineering in software discipline or an equivalent. We imagine you have experience in agile methods and practices as well as a deep insight and a curiosity into the newest technology. You have worked with electrical design methods and tools, and you have strong communication skills. You have a vast experience in design of automation systems for industrial use.
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
