Our offer
The position as Technical writer gives you the opportunity to work in one of our R&D teams and be part of an international organization. At Doro, we strive for work-life balance. You will work from our bright, spacious office close to the Central Station in Malmö with many places to go for lunch, close to shopping and gyms. We have a hybrid approach where you are able to work from home up to two days per week.
About the position
In this role, you will write user guides and manuals for our Doro products. You will also manage the translation of manuals and UI strings, keeping a consequent "Doro-language". The manuals need to be adapted based on requests from different parts of the organization. You also need to release printing materials on time for mass production.
As we want to improve our work, we expect you to suggest improvements to manuals and other types of documentation.
This is a temporary position for 6 months with the possibility of an extension.
Are you the one?
In this role, it is important that you have good communication and social skills. Technical product knowledge on an advanced user level and the ability to put it into words is a must. We also think that you enjoy learning new things and technologies.
Other requirements:
• Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including both texts and layout
• Good knowledge of XML manual writing, Arbortext editor or similar
• Good knowledge of CMS (Content Management System) and the benefit of re-using text
• Deep knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Fluent in English
