hela Sverige For this job we require the candidate to have a long and deep experience from hardware design and development and be able to provide advice and expertise in all stages of a modern hardware development project. This includes spearheading pre-studies, setting system requirements, lead hardware prototype design, coach and train new hardware designers, interact with various clients, manage entire hardware design projects and much more. We are looking for someone not only with experience for the job but also the attitude and leadership abilities.
Skills & Experience:
• 10+ years' experience in hardware development
• Hardware design using various design tools such as Altium or Cadence.
• Competence within various subjects such as EMC, DC/DC, Analog, Digital, High-speed etc.
• Documented experience from working with full-scale hardware design projects
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach fellow hardware engineers.
• Take the role as a hardware evangelist and promote modern and advanced hardware practices
ALTEN is currently expanding the inhouse embedded product development and we want to increase our management team with a technical specialist within hardware development and design. We are looking for someone with a deep competence and experience from hardware development from many different industries. We also want this person to take on a team-leader role and be responsible for the entire inhouse hardware development effort. You should not only provide expert advice on various designs as well as reviews but you should also be able to inspire and lead fellow hardware designers. This role will be part of Alten Embedded Systems Management team along with Business Managers, HR and Department Managers.
