To strengthen our expertise within the development of Volvo Cars user experience, we are looking for a Technical Specialist within the field of Intelligence Interaction Design. Focus for this senior position is the intelligence connected to user experience with a purpose to build and strengthen the smart relationship between user and car.
The department DUX Development Center is responsible for Digital UX development to car projects, advanced engineering and research assignments. We are organized in three groups with employees both in Gothenburg and in Copenhagen within Product and Quality.
In this unique role, you will work with the holistic experience of intelligence interaction, keeping the complete Volvo experience consistent. You will be working with big data and identify opportunities that will lead to meaningful interactions. Key words are novelty thinking, new challenges and new domains for Volvo Cars.

Main responsibilities
* Apply novelty thinking for assisting intelligence and intelligence interaction
* Strengthen long term relationship between user and car
* Identify industrial needs for research and innovation projects
* Develop and maintain relations with universities through supervision of doctorate programs, thesis works.
* Proactively participate in standardization work
* Proactively participate in seminars, conferences and conventions
* On request support in contacts with authorities, e.g. in legal matters
* On request support PR/ PA on press events, interviews, etc.
Competencies we are looking for
* Minimum Master's Degree or equivalent in relevant domain.
* PhD Degree and applied practice within relevant area would be meritorious.
* 10 years of documented experience within the described area.
* Capability to interpret relevant external research, authority analyses and industrial investigations and convey and integrate with needs in car programs
* Experience from at least two platform programmes within the area including Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
* Documented high level of communication skills and presentation techniques
* Demonstrated initiative and capability to provide technical leadership to peers and management
* Driver's licence
