You will be based in Stockholm in a modern office setting in our multinational and diverse HQ.
Role Summary
As the Technical Program Manager within Technology and Delivery Team you will be leading the largest consumer transformation program in Europe at Electrolux called CONCENT (Consumer Centric Transformation). You will lead a large group (200 people) of cross-functional teams within Technology, Solution Area and Business delivering rollout of consumer solutions across Europe and new feature developments in small increments. You will be accountable for program planning, timeline and budget of the program portfolio of initiatives and committed Epics. We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader who can follow through plans and articulate outcomes to our executive steering constantly seeking directions and driving strategic decisions.
Who you are
We are looking for a senior and experienced Technical Program Manager who has the ability to work in a challenging environment and is adaptable, resilient and is capable of driving teams in unfamilirar conditions with tenacity. You are a specialist in enabling teams to success, communicating progress to all stakeholders and constantly ensuring the big picture stays in focus while delving into the details on specific technical details when needed. In this role you will closely work with internal teams, external partners, IT vendors and Software providers. To be successful in this role you must have a solid background in delivering IT & Digital projects, have a good knowledge of SDLC, SAFe and running executive steering committees reporting to sponsors. You must also possess a good business acumen of consumer tech, and have the attention to details on your plans, financials and in moderating technical discussions and translate them to decisions. In addition, you are also a specialist in planning complex IT projects for professional and high quality GoLives in a highly integrated systems landscape that is made of SaaS, Cloud-Native, AI, ERP, CRM and consumer analytics.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Technology and Delivery you will be responsible to:
• Execute the plan by managing the day-day activities of the program
• Own the end-end program delivery while ensuring the IT delivery plan is aligned with business transformation and product discovery
• Execute the program plan at different levels from high-level strategic planning to tactical project management (prioritization, schedule creation, milestone definition and execution, and output management)
• Develop the program rollout plan together with the Head of product and Head of transformation of the program to establish a solid rollout strategy
• Responsible for planning and executing detailed milestone (build, test, release) level planning together with delivery leads and test managers
• Act as the main point of contact for communication to all technology teams, cross functional solution leads, IT vendors, and other members of the delivery and product organization
• Proactively identify technical, performance and communication issues and drive to resolution
• Lead dependency planning at Epic level identifying constraints and risks
• Lead suppliers and partners from engaging for statement of work to final deliverables in collaboration with vendor management office
• Ensure the rollout model is constantly improving and that it supports speed and good quality deliverables with the ability to build in parallel and release often.
• Advocate modern ways of software development and being an ambassador for scrum and SAFe frameworks in the program
• Creating value quickly by driving mindset of minimum viable product (MVP) scope
Qualifications
• Holds a university degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8-10 years of working experience including previous leadership experience as a Technical Program Manager or as a Senior Project Manager with a track record of delivering IT projects and Go-Lives
• Experience in reporting and presenting project status to senior leadership and executive steering committees
• Experience building schedules, coordinating large cross-functional teams, and managing shared resource base
• Experience managing remote tech teams including developers, business analysts, delivery leads, based offshore (India, Sri Lanka) and nearshore (Romania, Poland).
• Strong foundation with project and program and resource planning
• Deep understanding of SDLC, planning build, test, release and GoLives
• Working experience in Agile environment including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or in product teams
• Has the ability for handling context switching (jumping between different technical topics) and multi-tasking (managing parallel initiatives)
• Collaborative by nature, with articulated communication with the ability to translate technical details in a business-friendly terminology to business
• Fluent English
