Your role
Control Centre is a first line support function, with a continuous monitoring and operation services 24/7/365. They support major applications and all IT platforms, act on alarms and incidents and work order handling. The team consists of 18 operators working in six shift teams on a shift schedule 24/7/365. You are responsible to handle all tasks within Control Centre services:
• Monitor both application and infrastructure events
• Identify, isolate and resolve alarms
• Register incidents and assign to applicable groups
• Request fulfilment (work orders in SRM) such as batch orders, urgent access, production deploy
• Restore of files
Being part of the team you contribute to continuous improvement both internally and in the cooperation with other teams. The position involves stakeholder and vendor contact, both in Swedish and in English.
Qualifications
• Experience from working with Mainframe, eg. IWS and JCL knowledge
• Knowledge of or willing to learn one or several of SEB IT platforms (eg Windows, Unix/Linux, Mainframe, iSeries, Network, Storage)
• Experience from having customer contact
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English
• Good ability to learn
• Preferable experience from 24/7 support function
To be successful in this position you need to be eager to learn and have a big interest in IT. To be service minded and have good social skills. It is important to have the ability to multi-task and to and to prioritize and complete tasks, also in situations with time pressure and conflicting demands. Preferably, IT experience in one or several IT platforms (eg Mainframe, iSeries, Windows, Unix/Linux, Network, Storage), also IWS and JCL knowledge and experience from similar work is desired. Personal abilities are valued, being customer/stakeholder oriented. To have the ability to take initiative and to work with continuous improvements. Has a strong sense of responsibility and commitment. Furthermore, collaboration skills and ability to communicate within your team and towards your stakeholders. Communication skills in both Swedish and English will be needed.
