We are now looking for a Product Development Leader in PEU Radio HW1, positioned in Kista, to secure Ericsson technology leadership and make sure we have the right scope, quality, time and cost for product development. As a leader, you will guide, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations and be a mentor for them. You will foster a creative and learning culture.
The successful candidate have a curious mindset, are eager to learn and constantly develop. You have a positive attitude and appreciate collaborating with colleagues in a team. You are used to work in a global environment with many different interfaces and partners. Proactive thinking comes natural and you will work smart to remove impediments that our design teams meet. You are flexible and can adapt your mentorship/leadership style as it is suitable for the team and the development phase of the project.
What you will do:
Be a vital part of the Board Lead section, which is responsible for the design and release of radio boards in Main Remote-, Massive Mimo- and mmWave- segments. We believe you are a person with excellent skills to drive technology implementation and product leadership.
Secure Board release according to time-schedule. Define and plan the team activities and align with other team leaders towards the overall radio project schedule.
Direct your team through requirements, design, bring-up, verification and product ramp-up.
Secure a robust and reliable product via a good understanding of the design and careful consideration of planning for required design verification
Close collaboration with sourcing, supply and technical specialists.
You will be joining an experienced team of product development and technical leaders within Board Design where you will have the opportunity to work with PCB solutions that are pushing the technology evolution. There will also be opportunities to drive technology development projects, perform trouble shooting, drive continuous improvements of products and processes and develop your competence in the technical domain as well as a leader.
You will bring:
Master of science in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
7 years of work experience from product development
Demonstrated ability in leading teams and team building
Self-driven and proactive mindset, with result orientation and critical thinking
A problem-solving attitude together with a creative and innovative approach
Experience from working in a collaborative environment
Good understanding of radio development and the corresponding challenges
Experience from electrical design and/or PCB design
Experience from SW-development is a merit
Coaching & Mentoring Skills
Good business understanding and customer insight
Excellent communication skills and proficient English language
