Internationella Engleska Skolan Kista opened in August 2015 with 18 classes. After an extremely successful start and with plans to grow to 25 classes in August 2016, we are looking to expand and develop our Science department. Whilst we are celebrated for our English profile, IES Kista is a bilingual working environment. We see excellence in the Swedish language as vital to our students
becoming future leaders within the local and national community.
We are looking for well qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of Science, to join our successful and experienced Science department. At IES Kista we want all teachers to deliver outstanding lessons in which every student is engaged and active in their learning. We provide a wide range of learning resources to support this, and are currently increasing our facilities from two to
four purpose built science labs. Applicants with strong experience and a passion for bringing Science to life will be considered for a leadership role within the department.
IES Kista is a school where teachers can teach, students can learn and everyone enjoys coming to school each day. All teachers have the enriching experience of being a class mentor. A pedagogical breakfast and lunch is offered free of charge to all staff, as well as a personal laptop, mobile phone and an excellent working environment, which includes staff parking and a staff gym. We are able to support those coming from outside the Stockholm region to find suitable housing if required. We welcome visits to IES Kista from all prospective applicants.
