Main Responsibilities of the Department
94240 Electrical Distribution System (EDS) is responsible for developing the electrical distribution system, the wiring harness and the wiring harness components, in all vehicle lines within Volvo Cars.

A highly driven. self-starting team player, passionate about leading development teams and project leadership. Outgoing, structured and communicative with good cooperative and planning skills. You will be able to develop your leadership skills as well as deepen your technical knowledge, thus forming a perfect base for a future career within project- or line management.
Requirements:
* Technical education at university level, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a similar competence level achieved through working experience.
* Good knowledge of Volvo cars working methods and systems; release of technical design documents, task and deviation management, planning, project monitoring, financial control.
* Complete vehicle knowledge.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Experiences:
* Experience from project management within P&Q as a Lead Engineer or SPL.
* Practical and theoretical knowledge of VPDS.
* Experience from cooperation with suppliers.
* Knowledge of working methods and systems; release of design technical documents, task and deviation management, planning, project monitoring and financial control.

Working proficiency in the English language, speech and writing, is a requirement. Combined with the same skills in the Swedish language is considered a merit.
