What do we offer?
At Powertrain Mounts & Air Induction System you will contribute to the driver 's experience of the car. The section is organized under the department Propulsion Energy Systems within Vehicle Propulsion. The section consists of around 50 persons, divided into 3 groups. We are now looking for a System Project Leader (SPL) to the group Project & Maintenance, which consists of 10 skilled employees, in different roles, working with both of the technical groups that develops and designs Powertrain Mounts and Air Induction Systems.
What you'll do
In order to assure top quality, you will secure that the project deliveries are met and in line with the program requirements. If deviations occurs, you will take the lead to correct those. You will be involved in cross-functional teamwork, your role will be encourage and support the team to develop world-class quality deliverables.
You will report projects status and make recommendations for project gates. Further, you will have contact with necessary departments within Volvo Cars, as well as with external suppliers.

You are a passionate leader, who possesses the ability to motivate a team to achieve common goals. You delegate task in an efficient way and are result orientated with a positive attitude. You like to keep a holistic view and you have always the customer's best in mind. You are a good communicator, who enjoy networking and building relationships.
We see that you have a technical education on university level and previous experience from leading product development assignments. You possesses leadership skills and are a talented in project management. You need to be fluent in English (both written and spoken) and hold a driver's license.
If you have experience of plastic and/or metal components or previously worked in the automotive industry it is meritorious.
