The section Security and Body Electronics within Vehicle Software & Electronics department has responsibilities that stretches from early phases until launching new cars. Our mail role is to develop functionality for customers.
The section consists of four groups; two engineering design groups, one SW-development group, and one Verification group, and has approximately 65 employees. We handle project management, analysis, verification, hardware and software. The technical responsibility covers many of the security systems in the vehicle, such as Access, Locking & Alarm, but also a number of electronic control units, for instance the centrally positioned Central Electronic Module (CEM) and Vehicle Computational Unit (VCU1). One part of the section is also a group with the responsibility of in-house developed software to Central Electronic Module and Vehicle Computational Unit.
We are now looking for a System Engineer to strengthen our Usage Authorisation and Access team. You will work with new and existing functionality in current and upcoming car projects. We have new developments ongoing in the IT security area, as well as next generation smart access systems. Focus is to enable customer features, such as personal phone, as key and car sharing in the best way possible. Main responsibilities
The position of System Engineer means responsibility for the electrical system solution cross the car, which is result of deep discussion and collaboration with different attribute and function owners.
System engineer is responsible to develop a system fulfilling the agreed system solution within the project. Your main role on this position is to assure that solution comply with all agreed requirements by customer function owners, legal and insurance requirements and other attribute owners.
Required qualifications
B.Sc. in Electronics or Mechatronics engineering or equivalent
Experience from system engineering or safety related components/systems
Experience from software and/or hardware development
Experience within automotive industry is beneficial
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Driving license "B"
Meritorious knowledge and qualifications
Hardware or Software Security for mobile devices
Communication Security : IPsec, HTTPS, TLS, or SSH
Wireless communication protocols: BLE, NFC or WiFi and Certificate management systems
Vehicle communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Flexray, SOME/IP
Automotive standards : AUTOSAR, ISO26262
