What you'll do?As System Engineer your main responsibility will be to develop and ensure system functions based on hardware and software. You will work with requirement definition and fulfilment through cooperation with our application team members as well as with our core product development in Sweden and abroad.
The journey starts from a defined ADAS or AD functionality. Your mission will be to drive definition of the Requirements and along the way you will review the progress in internal and customer reviews according to agile principles.
As constraints are being identified by System Integration and Test you will ensure these are handled and incorporated in the requirement work within the different teams. You will also monitor that Safety Requirements are handled in close cooperation with our Functional Safety Manager. You will have a continuous interaction with our Product Experts, System-, Hardware-, Software, Test and Verification Engineers.
As part of the Veoneer System Engineering community you will have the opportunity to contribute to our internal Continuous Improvement work
What you'll bring:We believe you already have a background in embedded systems development, electronics, software or similar. You are also familiar with typical requirement handling systems as e.g. Doors, PTC Integrity or similar. Preferably you even have experience from Automotive and working with Safety critical systems. If you have experience of Automotive SPICE, AUTOSAR and ISO26262 we seen it as highly credible.
We presume that you thrive in environments of constant learning and developing, where you can put your problem-solving skills to good use. As a person you're used to and enjoy working both independently and in teams, help driving the projects forward. You are convincing and result oriented and have the ability to build good and constructive relations within the team and with the customers. Since you are used to working in international environments you are also no stranger to the English language or communicating to people from different parts of the world. Although, also being able to communicate in Swedish is highly merited.
Level (diploma) required:
• Post-secondary or Master education in Electrical Engineering, System Engineering or Software Engineering
Other required skills:
• 3 or more years' experience within relevant area
