The Sustainable Power organization within Volvo CE is the center of development for off-road engines, auxiliary components, and future emission free power solutions. We are responsible for the Power solution in all our Construction Equipment Machines, e.g. Articulated Haulers, Excavators, Wheel Loaders and Road & Utility Machinery.

The Controls & Diagnostic team is responsible for the future Control systems of Sustainable power and Thermal Management. We also handle integration of engine and its subsystems regarding performance, emissions, fuel consumption, drivability, diagnosis, and communication. We also handle the controls integration of fuel cell solutions.
System Engineer
With the ambition to develop the best off-road Power Source in the world, we are now strengthening our team with System Engineers. In this role, you can be involved one or several areas as below depending on your personal profile and interest.
We are running projects with diesel and alternative fuel for combustion engines.
We are running Fuel Cell projects with integration of new power sources for our Machines.
We have Thermal Management for Battery and Fuel Cell solutions.
We have Electronic Control Units for controlling engines that follow Volvo CE 's Machine electronic architecture.
We have functional safety requirements on our products
Model Based Development and Systems Engineering / SW Development
You will be a part of a team developing the next generation of power solutions for all Volvo Construction Equipment Machines.

Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
M.Sc. in Electronics or Mechatronics
Experience in SW/Electronics,
Experience of embedded systems
