There is now a unique opportunity for you to work in a role where you will be involved in most of the features in the car. The department is responsible for Vehicle Mode Management, Enable/Disable vehicle for driving and Management of Electric Energy. Based on these functionalities the system solutions is defined. The system solutions will allocate requirements on all affected electrical subsystems and components.
What we do
Vehicle Mode Management and Start makes sure that the car always is available for the customer. We make sure that there is enough energy in the battery to start the engine and to let the customer use all other car functions. We also ensure that the electrical systems power up fast and efficient before the engine is started. This is managed through three main functions; Manage Vehicle Mode, Enable/Disable vehicle for driving and Manage Electrical Energy. Based on these functionalities the system solutions are defined. The system solutions will then allocate requirements on all electrical subsystems and components that, to some extent, consumes energy.
