About You
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with development skills and a strong passion for DevOps, Observability, and Security. This is an on-site role at our office in Göteborg, Sweden.
In this role, you will help bridge the gap between traditional system administration and software development support. You will play a key role in building and maintaining an observability solution that spans from development environments to support and operations instances. Key responsibilities include managing infrastructure, creating dashboards, handling release processes, and supporting teams and users of the observability stack.
Since our teams follow a Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practice, awareness and compliance with security standards are essential.
We are looking for an active learner with strong communication skills who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. Our vision is to build robust and user-friendly solutions that benefit delivery teams, operations staff, and airline end users.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively as a team player with a self-driven and quality-focused mindset.
Drive DevOps culture and promote Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
Develop and configure software for seamless integration of multiple products.
Deploy systems and install products in target environments.
Support system verification and product release handling (governance/QA).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
Experience with cloud infrastructure tools: Kubernetes, Consul, Vault.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and security: AWS or Azure.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Ansible, Terraform.
Strong understanding of Observability tools and concepts: Prometheus, Loki, Grafana.
Expertise in Linux operating systems, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Proven experience in system setup, maintenance, and monitoring.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Experience with continuous integration (CI/CD) using GitLab CI.
Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git).
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Programming expertise in Python, Java, or Shell scripting (sh/bash).
Knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, firewalls, protocols).
Experience with Technical Configuration Management (YAML, JSON).
Familiarity with identity management solutions (OIDC, SAML).
