hela Sverige We are now looking for an English- or Swedish-speaking nanny for a family with three children aged 3, 5 and 7 years old. (They all speak both languages). The family need help between 20 and 40 hours per week. More than 20 hours/week can be offered to someone who is happy to help out with some simple housekeeping. The work would be spread over 5 days/week most weeks. The schedule is flexible and will be vary from week to week. The family will need help with picking up the children from nursery and school in the afternoon, play with them and to cook dinner for them. A typical afternoon shift will be about 15.00-19.00. They also need help with taking the children to and from activities, so someone with a drivers licence is needed. Some days, they will also require help in the morning and will need the nanny to start quite early, about 7am. Other days the nanny might be needed in the evening to babysit when the parents are out. The nanny might also be required to work overnight if the parents are travelling and will also be asked to travel with the family from time to time when they go on Holliday.
On average the nanny will be asked to work every second weekend and during those weeks the nanny will be given days off during the week.
The family is a very kind and loving family who likes their family time. They want a nanny who will become part of their family and enjoy spending time with them. The parents both have demanding jobs and need a nanny to help them with the children when they can't be there. The nanny will also spend time working alongside one of the parents from time to time when the other one is travelling for work. There will also be times when the nanny will be looking after 1 or 2 of the children while the parents are away with the other one(s). The children are fluent in both Swedish and English and have had English-speaking nannies before. They're all very social and energetic, so someone who loves playing and busy environments would be well suited for the position.
Cooking is a very important part of the job so an interest in that is highly desirable. There are no allergies or dietary requirements. A tidy person is also very important. Someone who sees what needs doing and makes sure to take time to tidy up the toys at the end of the day and to clear up the kitchen after cooking.
If the nanny is interested in more than 20 hours/week, more hours can be offered if the nanny is happy to help out with some light housekeeping. The family have a cleaner so it's more of the daily chores that are needed. Such as laundry, ironing, making beds, grocery shopping, running errands, hoover the kitchen which is needed more frequently than the cleaner is there. Etc.
The position with commence as soon as we've found the right person.
The position is live-out and the family offer a salary of between 125-190 sek/hour gross, depending on experience the salary is negotiable. As an example, for 20 hours á week a salary of 150 sek/h would make 13000 sek/month gross. If the nanny were to work 40 hours á week the salary would be 26000 sek/month gross. The salary will be payed monthly.
