The group Connected Components within the section Connected Infotainment at the electrical unit is responsible for all work with Connected Car. The group is responsible for the ECU's in the car that makes it possible to connect the car to the customer, it includes functions as In-Car apps, Mobile apps, Software download, and Telematics. Roles within the group are Lead engineer/Project Leaders and Software and Hardware engineers. We also have the responsibility of maintains issues within the area.
As a Software Engineer Connected Infotainment within the group Connected Components you are responsible for the in-time SW delivery at the ECU content, which is a result of deep discussions and collaborations with Supplier, Attribute- and Function Owners and also the SW- and HW responsible in the group. You will lead the SW team and assure that the deliveries are done in time and according to the order agreed upon as well as take lead in SW discussions, both internal and external regarding project status, changes etc.
Main responsibilities
• Requirement break down from function and system specification
• meetings with stakeholders to handle requiremets
• Supplier contact
• Support for test and verification SW from supplier
Required qualifications
• BSc in engineering or equivalent working experience
• Experience from SW development within the automotive industry
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Driver's license B
• Experience from Volvo Car Group projects a well as project management is meritorious
• Experience from system engineering or related components/systems are meritorious
• Meritorious is knowledge in AutoSAR
• Knowledge within Connectivity and Telematics are meritorious
• An asset would be good knowledge in Volvo Car Group system : LEQM, VQDC, Elektra, Lotus Notes, Sharepoints, SWI, e-tracker, CarCom, KDP, PIE, VPDS, QoP, SWJR
